The Mandalay City Development law was enacted by the State Law and Order Restoration Council order No. 10 / 92, dated 29 December 1992, and , accordingly, the Mandalay City Development Committee has been established.
Mandalay City Development Committee undertaking the various city development activities is constituted of seven members. Projects are being carried out in all sectors with the three objectives, namely,
